Container

A responsive .container wrapper. Place rows and columns inside to build section layouts. It is shown in the block inserter as Canvas Container and registered as canvas-core/container.

Select the block on a page and its own settings open in the sidebar, in the panels below:

Settings

Each setting is named exactly as the block editor names it, followed by what it does and what it starts as. Where a setting carries a Shown when line, it stays hidden until that condition is met, which is the usual reason a setting looks missing from the sidebar:

Layout

  Whether the content inside is held to the reading width the site uses everywhere, or allowed to run the full width of the screen.

• Add clearfixDefaultOff

  Makes the container hold its full height when everything inside it is floated, which stops the next section riding up underneath.
