Footer About

A footer "About" column with logo, description and optional address, using the .footer-logo markup. It is shown in the block inserter as Canvas Footer About and registered as canvas-core/footer-about.

Select the block on a page and its own settings open in the sidebar, in the panels below:

Settings

Each setting is named exactly as the block editor names it, followed by what it does and what it starts as. Where a setting carries a Shown when line, it stays hidden until that condition is met, which is the usual reason a setting looks missing from the sidebar:

    Falls back to the Site Logo (Dark) from Theme Options, then the Site Logo, when no custom image is set below.

  • Custom Logo ImageDefault0

    Overrides the site logo above.

  • Custom Logo URL (fallback)DefaultEmpty

    Used when no attachment is selected above (e.g. shipped pattern content).

  • Logo Alt TextDefaultEmpty

    How the logo is described to someone who cannot see it, and to a search engine. Leave it empty to use the description saved with the file.

    Short brand statement shown under the logo. Basic HTML (e.g. ) is allowed.

  • Address (optional)DefaultEmpty

    Optional address / contact line(s) rendered inside an tag. One line per row. Inline HTML (, , , , ) is allowed.

  • Contact LinesDefaultEmpty

    Labelled contact rows rendered under the address. A Tooltip value wraps the label in an tag (the accessible expansion of the abbreviated label).

    Each row of Contact Lines takes:

      What this row is, shown in bold before the value.

      Set to wrap the label in . Leave empty for a plain bold label.

      The detail itself, such as the telephone number or the address you want people to write to.

      Makes the value clickable. Start it with mailto: to open a mail message, or tel: to start a call.

    Emit the logo, text and address on their own, with no column and no widget box, for a design whose container already provides both. It is ignored when the block carries classes, an identifier, custom styling or custom attributes, since those need an element to sit on.
