Inline Contact

A flat inline run of icon + text contact items (email, phone, Skype, etc.) joined by middot separators: the #copyrights bar contact line. It is shown in the block inserter as Canvas Inline Contact and registered as canvas-core/inline-contact.

Select the block on a page and its own settings open in the sidebar, in the panels below:

Settings

Each setting is named exactly as the block editor names it, followed by what it does and what it starts as. Where a setting carries a Shown when line, it stays hidden until that condition is met, which is the usual reason a setting looks missing from the sidebar:

Content

  • Contact ItemsDefaulta preset list of 3 rows

The contact details shown in the line, in the order given here. A row with no text is left out.

Each row of Contact Items takes:

    • IconDefaultEmpty

      Font-icon class(es) shown before the text (e.g. "bi-envelope", "fa-solid fa-phone").

    • TextDefaultEmpty

The detail itself, such as an address, a phone number or a username.

    • Link (optional)DefaultEmpty

When set, wraps the text in a link (tel:/mailto:/https:// schemes supported).

Settings

  • SeparatorDefault·

Character(s) shown between items, wrapped in the .middot span.

  • Wrapper ClassDefaultEmpty

Extra classes on the line as a whole, for spacing or a colour the surrounding design does not give it.

  • No Wrapping ElementDefaultOff

Emit the run of icons and text on its own, with no element around it, for a design whose column already provides one. It is ignored when the block carries classes, an identifier, custom styling or custom attributes, since those need an element to sit on.

Every Canvas block also carries the Animation, Scroll Effects and Advanced panels, which are described in Controls every Canvas block has.

Other blocks in Layout: Column, Container, Copyrights, Footer About, Footer Contacts, Footer Instagram.
