Copyrights

The footer copyrights bar: a copyright line with links on the left and an inline menu on the right. Use the Bare layout to render just the left-hand piece for hand-composed 2-column bars. It is shown in the block inserter as Canvas Copyrights and registered as canvas-core/copyrights.

Select the block on a page and its own settings open in the sidebar, in the panels below:

Settings

Each setting is named exactly as the block editor names it, followed by what it does and what it starts as. Where a setting carries a Shown when line, it stays hidden until that condition is met, which is the usual reason a setting looks missing from the sidebar:

Style

  Extra classes on the links wrapper: e.g. mt-0 to cancel its default top margin.

  Classes applied to every link: the wrapper class cannot colour them, because the theme styles the links directly.

  A paragraph gives the line its own spacing instead of relying on a line break; small print renders it in a element, the way a compact copyright card does, and the inline span is the shape a centred bar uses when the line is styled on its own element.
