Event Image

Displays the featured image of the current event. Only renders on canvas_event post type. It is shown in the block inserter as Event Image and registered as canvas-core/event-image.

Select the block on a page and its own settings open in the sidebar, in the panels below:

Settings

Each setting is named exactly as the block editor names it, followed by what it does and what it starts as. Where a setting carries a Shown when line, it stays hidden until that condition is met, which is the usual reason a setting looks missing from the sidebar:

    Leave on "Current event" inside the single-event template. Pick an event to show it on any other page.

    Which stored size of the picture the page loads. Choose one that suits the space it fills, since a larger file takes longer to arrive.

    Makes the picture clickable, opening the uploaded file at its full size.

  • Aspect RatioDefaultEmpty

    Proportions the image is cropped to, for example 21/9 or 16/9. Empty keeps its natural shape.

    Extra classes on the image.
