Event Title

Displays the current event title inside a configurable heading tag with an optional permalink link. Only renders on canvas_event post type. It is shown in the block inserter as Event Title and registered as canvas-core/event-title.

Select the block on a page and its own settings open in the sidebar, in the panels below:

Settings

Each setting is named exactly as the block editor names it, followed by what it does and what it starts as. Where a setting carries a Shown when line, it stays hidden until that condition is met, which is the usual reason a setting looks missing from the sidebar:

    Which heading level the event name uses. Reserve the first level for the main heading of the page, so the outline stays sound.

  • Link to EventDefaultOff

    Makes the name a link to the event page. Leave it off on the event page itself, where the link would point at the page already open.
