Blog Archive Loop

Blog loop for the main query (index, category, tag, author, date). Uses the theme blog-entry partials + pagination. It is shown in the block inserter as Blog Archive Loop and registered as canvas-core/blog-archive.

Select the block on a page and its own settings open in the sidebar, in the panels below:

Settings

Each setting is named exactly as the block editor names it, followed by what it does and what it starts as. Where a setting carries a Shown when line, it stays hidden until that condition is met, which is the usual reason a setting looks missing from the sidebar:

Layout

    How many posts sit across a row in the Grid and Masonry layouts. Leave it at 0 to follow the layout default.

    Shows the links to the next and previous pages of posts under the list. Turn it off where the page is meant to end after one screenful.

    HTML id for the posts container (e.g. "posts"). Leave blank for none.

    Overrides the per-layout default classes on the posts container (e.g. "row gutter-30"). Leave blank for the layout default.

    Show a sidebar beside the loop. "Theme Options" follows Blog → Show Sidebar; content comes from the Sidebar template part (Sidebar Alt on the left when using both).
